Gaskets and Seals

Universal Foam Products can create custom gaskets and seals for a wide range of industries using open and closed cell foam. We work exclusively to help your research, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ultimately deliver custom gasket and seal solutions that meet all of your requirements.  Universal Foam Products operates out of a modern manufacturing facility stocked with knowledgeable, technically oriented professionals, enabling us to consistently deliver on all of your blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements.

Open-cell foams can be used as a low pressure gasket by compressing its thickness to seal out air, dust or light. Closed-cell materials, such as crosslinked polyethylene, PVC or rubber are used most often when the application requires the sealing of a liquid under high pressure.

We can adhere custom gaskets and seals with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing to simplify end use. In most cases, we utilize our die cutting capabilities to produce the final gasket and seal components.

Let us know your objectives and requirements, and we will engineer a foam gasket solution to meet your needs and cost requirements, selecting the right gasket foam material, design and process to ensure the optimal and most cost-effective gasketing foam solution!

Universal Foam Products designs and manufactures custom foam seals and gaskets for automotive manufacturing, important medical devices, and other sensitive materials that require high levels of protection.

Gasket and seals are most often used to manage vibration, temperature and liquids. Beyond that, Universal Foam Products can adhere custom gaskets and seals with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing  to simplify end use.

Universal Foam Products maintains a full stock of foam gasket materials with options available in a broad range of thicknesses, hardness, densities, and colors.

We would be happy to assist you in selecting the proper foam material for your specific application.
